About the Job
Job Description:
- Carry out carpentry, painting, and gypsum works as assigned.
- Repair and maintain doors, windows, furniture, cabinets, and wooden fixtures.
- Measure, cut, and install wood and other materials.
- Install gypsum board partitions and false ceilings.
- Fix gypsum boards, metal frames, and ceiling supports.
- Apply joint tape, joint compound, and putty to gypsum surfaces.
- Prepare surfaces by sanding, filling, and cleaning before painting.
- Apply primer and paint to walls, ceilings, doors, furniture, and gypsum surfaces.
- Perform minor repairs and touch-up painting.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and materials properly.
- Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Keep the work area clean and tidy.
- Report material requirements and major damages to the supervisor.
- Complete assigned work on time and ensure good quality
