Project Engineer (Construction)
Job Context:
Job Context:
We are seeking an experienced, responsible, and results-oriented Project Manager/Project Engineer to manage and supervise construction projects within our Construction Department.
The selected candidate will be responsible for project planning, execution, site supervision, contractor coordination, quality control, cost monitoring, and timely completion of assigned projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, supervise, and monitor construction projects from initiation to final handover.
- Manage day-to-day project execution and site operations.
- Ensure construction work complies with approved architectural, structural, MEP drawings, specifications, BOQ, and project schedules.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
- Review drawings and identify technical or coordination issues.
- Prepare and verify BOQ, quantity measurements, cost estimates, rate analysis, and contractor bills.
- Monitor project budget, construction costs, material consumption, manpower, and equipment utilization.
- Prepare and monitor project schedules, work programs, and progress reports.
- Supervise contractors, engineers, supervisors, and site manpower.
- Ensure required quality, workmanship, health, and safety standards are maintained.
- Conduct regular site inspections and project coordination meetings.
- Manage finishing, snagging, testing, completion, and handover activities.
- Ensure projects are completed within the approved timeline, budget, and quality standards.
- Prepare regular project progress and status reports for Management.
Education:
- B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from a recognized university/institution.
- Must have strong practical knowledge of construction sites, site execution, supervision, and building construction activities.
- Candidates with strong practical knowledge and proven experience in building construction and project management will be preferred.
- 8–13 years of relevant experience in building construction, project management, site management, or real estate development.
Other Requirements:
- Preferably in a senior-level role such as Project Manager, Project Engineer, Senior Site Engineer, or equivalent.
- Experience in Condominium, residential, commercial, real estate, or multi-storied building projects will be highly preferred.
- Practical experience in handling projects from planning and mobilization to completion and handover is preferred.
